Lynne & Richard/Eric

The White Wolf Prophecy ~ Hall of Records ~ Book 2
When Lynne had been poisoned, he had realized that she was his mate.  And, this was why he was on his knees, now.  He was ashamed of it.  She was an innocent person, and his daughter!  How could he even think of her that way? Why would the powers decide that she was his mate?  After everything they had been through, why now?  What kind of a pervert did that make him?  Oh, he knew Cordone had felt the same towards Kaitlan, but this was different. Lynne was HIS daughter! He had fought it since that day, but he knew it was a losing battle within himself.  He could not look at her, because if  he did, his eyes would glow.  He needed to put them in before she saw. He sure had used a hell of a lot of them in recent weeks.  But, this was against everything he had ever believed.  He reached into his coat to retrieve another set.  Damn!  He was out! Lynne knew his thoughts as if they were her own. She  approached him knowing he wouldn’t look at her unless she forced him to do so.   “Eric, please?  Look at me,” she said.  He kept his head down. She was beside him. “Eric!  Look at me!”  This time it was a demand. He still refused.  He couldn’t allow her to see his glowing, red eyes.  He was out of contacts, and he knew if she saw them, now, she’d run from him. Lynne sighed, and kneeled before him as she had done as Princess to her King.  She gently took his face in her hands

bringing it up so he could see her face. He kept his eyes closed, but couldn’t resist her. “Please, Eric?  Look at me?” she begged.   He gave up, and opened his glowing, red eyes expecting to see disgust in hers staring up at him. His mouth dropped when she smiled at him. “Linora?  What the fuck?”  He grabbed her face looking into her matching, red and glowing eyes! “You, my dearest and oldest friend, are my mate.”  She smiled widely at him. “How?  I mean.  It’s not possible. I mean … oh, hell!  I don’t know what I mean!” Eric exclaimed in confusion. Lynne almost laughed at his reaction. He was so adorable when he was all flustered - if it had ever happened at all!   She always lifted his spirits when he was down as did he for her.  She was shaking with the wonder of it all.  Both of them had also fallen into their old habit of calling each other by their original names. The same names they had used while living in his kingdom. While it was nice before, their names, now, took on a more intimate sound.  But they didn’t realize that - at first. “Anita was right about us, Eric. She knew when you brought me into the clinic.  She must have seen your eyes glow, before you had to leave me.” “Both she and Cordone saw, Linora. I don’t have the right!  You are my daughter, for the Creator’s sake!  What does that say about me?  It makes me some sort of cradle snatching pervert!” “Cradle snatching pervert?” Lynne laughed out loud, clutching her stomach. “In case you haven’t noticed, Eric, I haven’t been a child in a very long time!” She gestured to her body. “Cordone mated with a newborn baby.  Is that any different?”   “You bet your fucking life it is!  You are my daughter!  I chose you!  I gave you the title of daughter and Princess!”

“Well, let’s look at facts.  Technically, I bit you first, turned you, so that actually makes you my son!”  She was still laughing gently at him.   He looked at her as if she had taken leave of her senses.   “What are you taking, Linora?  What drug is it?  You have to be taking something pretty damned strong to even suggest that we are mates!” “Then, you explain this!” she demanded pointing to her glowing eyes, then at his. “I … I … I … Oh, fuck! I can’t!”   He stood up, and grabbed both of her arms shaking her while staring down at the glowing eyes that looked into his. Oh, God! Lynne thought! He was glorious! Strong, handsome, and every inch a Viking god. From his neatly cropped strawberry blonde hair to his strong, massive  physique that he kept in perfect form with abs that would make any woman die to touch let alone having them over their own bodies!  His skin was fair, yet still tanned.  A conundrum.  He stood no less than six feet, five inches.  His red eyes were a perfect compliment to his hair - at least to a vampire woman.  In the old days, his hair had been past his shoulders.  She felt wetness begin to flow between her thighs.  Oh, DAMN!  She was in such trouble!  Such incredible, glorious trouble as she felt her womb clinch tightly in anticipation! Richard stared at Lynne, and if he was still breathing, his breath would have stopped at her beauty.  He now saw that her glowing red eyes were heavy with desire for him.  For the first time, he saw no child, nor did he see his daughter standing before him.  She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.  His groin tightened as desire raced through him, and whatever blood he did have, flew south at supersonic speed to harden his member at the sight of this beautiful woman.  His woman. Her hair was coal black, shining and sleek.  Always pulled into a very long ponytail out of her way. Loose, it would probably fall to her waist, and the idea of that hair falling

around him as he lay beneath her just made him harder.  Her face was the white paleness of the Elves. But, combined with the vampire in her, it was also perfect and transparent. She was exceedingly tall as all Elves, yet she was petite against Richard’s stature.  Standing six feet, her body was sleek and long.  Perfectly proportioned, her body moved as if flowing.  Her breasts were smaller by the standards of other women, and her waist slim.  Her hips were also slim, yet rounded, and her legs very long.  She carried herself with royal grace.  What was at the apex of her legs was not really a mystery as he had seen her naked many times when they swam when she was a child. However, he was perfectly willing to find out what that area looked like as a woman.  And, he would.  She was his mate, and he knew it.  Even though he still tried to think of her as his daughter, it was getting more difficult by the second.
